Dog Friendly

Pembrokeshire is very popular with dog walkers. There are plenty of wonderful areas to walk and we have supplied local Ordance Survey maps in the cottage to help you decide where to go. Between 1st May and 30th Sept there are dog restrictions on some of the main beaches. There are however many more beaches where there are no restrictions.

Dogs are also welcome at local pubs. We have listed a few of these below:

  • Roch: The Victoria - the most local pub. It offers lovely home cooked food and real ales. It is located on the main road in Roch en-route to Newgale
  • Newgale: The Duke of Edinburgh - right by the beach in Newgale, popular with surfers and campers
  • Solva: The Harbour Inn - as the name suggests located by the harbour in the public car park.
  • Druidstone Hotel: Approx 5 miles away on the coast road between Newgale and Broadhaven
  • Little Haven: The Swan and St Brides Inn - both easily found in the lovely village of Little Haven
  • Marloes: The Lobster Pot - located in the centre of Marloes village
