The Stable Cottage

Where are we?

The cottage is situated just outside the village of Roch, with it's own well stocked shop/post office and pub, whilst being a short drive from stunning Newgale beach. The county town of Haverfordwest is approximately 6 miles away which has a castle, museums and shops including a farmer's market on Fridays. The picturesque harbour town of Solva is approximately 10 minutes drive away. It contains pubs, restaurants, pottery shops and art galleries. The UK's smallest city, St David's is 5 minutes further on from Solva. Here you will find the historic Cathedral and Bishop's Palace and you can wander around the shops, coffee shops, galleries and explore the old streets. You can also book boat trips here to nearby Ramsey Island, where there is a wealth of sea and bird-life.

Pembrokeshire is famous for it's stunning coastline, dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and abundant sea-life. The area is home to Bottlenose dolphins, Harbour Porpoise and Grey seals, as well as a range of sea-birds including Razorbills, Guillimots, Cormorants and Oyster Catchers. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes through the UK's only coastal National Park and covers 186 miles of amazing views. Inland there are wonderful country walks to enjoy as well a host of other attractions.
